Flint Mountain got off to the perfect start in their 2016/17 pre season campaign after victory over FC Nomads Reserves this evening. Mountain were ahead early in the half after a goal from returning striker Nathan Eccleson. Last season's player of the year Ian Wynne grabbed a second before half time. In the second half, Keiran Farr added a third just after half time before Chris Layne netted a fourth. With just moments of the game remaining, Cody Silvester scored the fifth from close range.

Next up for Flint Mountain is a trip to Wrexham on Saturday to face Johnstown. Mountain will be looking to build upon the impressive showing this evening as the build up to the season continues.
