On the back of three encouraging wins in a row in this pre season, Flint Mountain entertained Betws Yn Rhos in our fourth game. The Mountain Men failed to get out of first gear and were punished with a goal 15 minutes into the game before Craig Jones scored with an in swinging corner to level the game going into half time.

The second half was all Betws and after two goals were conceded early, the heads of the Mountain players dropped as more and more mistakes were made. This led to further goals and Mountain could only manage a solitary consolation with ten minutes to go.

Despite the result though, Mountain will look to put that loss behind us as we host Saltney Town Colts in a friendly to be played on Thursday evening.
