Flint Mountain took on Garden Village this evening in what would prove to be a tough challenge against a side from a league above us. The match showed that the Mountain players are beginning to gel together with prospective new players.

The first half was dominance from Mountain with goals from Chris Layne and Luciano Ciati before carelessness cost us a two goal lead into half time.

In the second half Garden Village tried to assert themselves to no avail before Ciati added his second and the decisive third goal. The game was wrapped up in the last ten minutes with further goals from Alex Millington and Phil Marshall.

Next up for Mountain is another home friendly, this time against Betws Yn Rhos this Saturday.
