After the opening pre season victory last week, Flint Mountain again headed onto the road, this time to play Betws-y-Coed, who we faced in our final game of last season. There were quite a few absentees this week and only a bare eleven made the trip, including manager Gareth Young.
Despite this, the team battled through the heat and lack of available substitutes to claim a 4-2 victory. The goals came courtesy of Craig Fitzpatrick, the stand in striker bagging two goals, as well as Craig Jones getting his second in two games and Luciano Ciati.
Next up for Flint Mountain is Garden Village on Tuesday evening, at a venue to be confirmed.
