Flint Mountain Football Club are delighted to announce the deadline day signing of defender Aaron Simpson, who joins the club from Aberystwyth Town. The former Caernarfon Town defender brings bags of Cymru Premier experience and counts Wrexham, Rhyl, Cefn Druids and the Cofis among his former clubs. The 27-year-old made 19 appearances for Caernarfon Town last season and will add further quality to the Mountain defensive ranks.

Aden Shannon had this to say on his new signing:

"Really pleased to get this one over the line. It came about late to be honest but as soon as we realised he was available then it was something we had to get done. The lad is a fantastic defender and I am really looking forward to working with him."

"We have lost a couple of lads due to injury so it was important we strengthened and there might be one or two more to come in."
