Flint Mountain Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of striker Sam Henry, who joins from Upton JFC. The 31-year-old is no stranger to the Ardal North West, beginning last season with Saltney Town, scoring eleven goals, before a January move to Brymbo in the North East Wales League.
The experienced striker brings experience from both sides of the border and also brings Cymru North experience following a stint at then Cymru North side, Corwen.
Aden Shannon had this to say on his new signing:
"I know Sam well outside of football and he's a good friend. If I'm honest, I have tried to sign him at most clubs I have been at but unfortunately it's never materialised. But this season we spoke and agreed it would be good for him to come in and I have to be honest he's been a class act already."
"The lad knows where the goal is and he also fits in with the lads. I am really looking forward to working with Sam this season."
Welcome to the Mountain, Sam!
