Flint Mountain Football Club are delighted to have secured the fantastic new signing of Rob Hughes, who joins the club after recently leaving Cymru Premier side, Caernarfon Town.

A dangerous attacking player who can play across the forward positions and behind the striker, Hughes brings bags of Cymru Premier experience for the likes of Caernarfon Town, Connah's Quay Nomads, and Prestatyn Town, while also having played in different spells in Australia. Hughes also knows the Essity Stadium well having also previously played for our neighbours Flint Town United, and scored against the Mountain when the two sides met in the JD Welsh Cup last season.

Mountain manager Aden Shannon had this to say about his new signing:

"Another massive signing for the club. On his day he's one of, if not the best in the Welsh Prem so it's another huge coup for the club. The lad has so much talent it's now how we get the best out of him."
